Community Outreach - Collaborative Art

Sparsile Dance Company is a company founded to band together those who haven't found an artistic community. We strive to provide a collaborative space for non dancing adults to create new dance works, organize community outreach events, as well as help provide low cost dance classes to the Dover community. 

This year we brought together over a dozen semi professional and professional in our 1st Annual Dance and Cultural Fair. This free community event provided a performance space for groups and helped bridged the gap between the artistic community and the community at large. It was a rousing success and we are already begun plans for next year. We also are visiting nursing homes to provide holiday entertainment, and host several free performances throughout the year. Finally we staff a dance studio, with 100% volunteer hours. 

We cannot do this work alone. Providing dance classes at nearly half price has it's disadvantages. While we have the ability to offer classes to students who would otherwise be unable to attend we are struggling. We need your help to continue to provide this space to our dancers and students.
